How We Used Digital to Drive Results for Michigan State University

Our team was thrilled to begin working closely with our neighbors at Michigan State University earlier this year.

Our main task from MSU’s Eli Broad College of Business was to promote one of their exciting Executive Development Programs called Building Winning Teams. This program integrates expertise from Broad College’s world-renowned faculty and insights from accomplished MSU coaches to create an incredible learning environment. The MSU Executive Development team asked us to help them attract future executive leaders to enroll in the upcoming program.

We chose to create a comprehensive marketing strategy that included targeted email marketing and digital ad campaigns. In order to target our digital marketing strategy as effectively as possible, we started by building lists of local businesses that could potentially benefit from an executive development program.

We then created Facebook Canvas Ads, Display Ads, and a video using MSU’s branding. We set up Facebook Lead Ads as well so interested viewers could sign up for more information directly from their News Feeds. Finally, we set up email marketing to immediately deliver more detailed information to interested parties.

 

 

 

 

Our targeted email and digital ad campaigns helped attract a lot of future executive leaders to enroll in the upcoming program. We reached more than 50,000 people on Facebook and generated 64 new leads from our Lead Ad campaign. By running multiple targeted campaigns on varied platforms and automating the sign-up process, we helped the team at MSU to gain more attendees for the event quickly, easily, and effectively.
