Mariel Brown-Fallon is an East Coast native with a passion for politics, persuasive writing, and progressive causes. Following internships in D.C. with New Heights Communications and Senator Bernie Sanders’ Congressional Office, Mariel decided to jump head first into the political world as an organizer with Bernie 2016 in New Hampshire. Following the first-in-the-nation primary, she spent the rest of the 2016 cycle working in multiple states with the campaign as both an organizer and an advancer.
At CMG, Mariel lends her fiery writing and digital strategy skills to Democratic candidates running for office up and down the ballot. Leading up to the 2018 midterm elections, Mariel wrote hundreds of fundraising emails, petitions, social posts, and video scripts to help State House, Congressional, and Lt. Governor candidates raise money, organize online, and win their elections.
As a remote worker, you can frequently catch her on road trips, at the dog park, or getting caffeinated in a cute cafe near you. She also co-hosts Midwest Nice — a podcast with honest political discourse, dipped in ranch.
