Cathy Myers, a single mom and a teacher, didn’t have a large network of wealthy individuals to raise money from, and she faced a tough primary with an opponent made famous by a viral video early on. With all this in mind, we worked with Cathy and her team to create a unique brand, an authentic voice, compelling videos, and an aggressive digital fundraising program.
We created a brand and full creative suite that was strong, bold, uniquely feminine, and unmistakably Cathy.
We helped tell Cathy’s story by producing and filming video after video to move donors and voters. In all, these videos were viewed more than 5 million times.
Though Cathy didn’t ultimately win her race, based on her opponents massive general election loss, she was clearly the better candidate. In all, we raised more than $1.3 million from thousands of small-dollar donors who were deeply invested in her campaign and gave her a shot in an incredibly difficult race.
