Our 2016 Production Portfolio
We accomplished a lot for our clients in 2016, and we’re very proud of the work our team has done together over the past year. We want to say thank you to everyone we worked with in 2016, and are looking forward to a bright future as we continue to grow. For now, check out some of our favorite print pieces, mail, and websites we created in the past year in our 2016 Production Portfolio!
Susan Demas: New Brand & Website
Early in the year, we had the pleasure of working with Susan J. Demas to launch a new brand identity and website for her work. She’s a columnist, speaker, writer, analyst, editor, and all around force to be reckoned with. She was working with a short timeline, and we were ecstatic to dive into this project head first!
Inside Michigan Politics: Website
We designed and developed a new responsive website for Inside Michigan Politics: the longstanding Michigan news source run by Editor and Publisher Susan Demas. We consolidated its content, increased its relevance, and emphasized and encouraged visitors to subscribe to the bi-weekly political publication.
AFT Michigan: New Brand Identity for Forum Magazine
We worked with the Michigan chapter of the American Federation of Teachers to create a new brand identity and design a voter guide booklet for the Nov. 8th election. Check it out below:

We were excited to see this shot of President Bill Clinton at a Labor Day rally in Detroit next to the yellow placard signs we designed for our friends at AFT Michigan.
Andre Borrello: Political Brand & Website
We helped Andre Borrello with a new brand and website for his winning campaign for Circuit Judge in Saginaw. Check out the style guide below, which we incorporated into his brand-new campaign website.
Arts Council of Greater Lansing: Branding
In the spring, our design team created a new brand identity for the Arts Council of Greater Lansing. Together with the Arts Council staff and board, we were able to design a logo and brand materials to match the vibrant, exciting work the Arts Council does in our area. The new logo is bright, bold, and energizing. We’ve loved seeing it pop up around town and as part of the many programs they sponsor!
Equality Michigan (EQMI): Website & Mail Pieces
Equality Michigan brought us in to create a new website and some print materials. We wanted to make sure the new website featured easy-to-find resources, clear donation and volunteer options, and showcased the EQMI community. After paring down much of the content on the old website, we were able to put together a simple, easy-to-navigate websites for the EQMI team:
Solarize Michigan: Branding & Website
Local environmental group Solarize Michigan asked us to help them build an identity and promote their campaign. Their main goals were to communicate that solar energy is not only possible, but attainable and fruitful in Michigan, and to create a place for interested parties to find information quickly and easily. We worked together to build an engaging brand identity that represents the Solarize Michigan campaign and used their new look and feel to create a brand-new website:
Sterling Heights: Branding, Website, & Mail Pieces
This past summer, we worked with an exciting grassroots millage campaign to bring improved recreational and park amenities to the City of Sterling Heights. Our work for the campaign began with a vibrant new logo to illustrate the brighter future awaiting residents. We then created a comprehensive website, informed by the new brand, where voters could go to learn about the specifics of the millage, access volunteer information, and donate. Lastly, our direct mail portion of the campaign conveyed to voters the many benefits of the millage by using tested messaging and strong imagery of actual Sterling Heights residents.
Say Yes to Mott Community College: Branding, Website, & Mail Pieces
The Say Yes to Mott Community College Committee came to us in need of a new brand, website, and mail campaign; all to persuade voters of MCC’s immense value to Genesee County and the surrounding region. Thanks to our work, MCC won the millage renewal they needed in 2016 to stay in operation and continue providing vital community services for years to come!

Carol Siemon: Branding, Photography, & Website
We were happy to work with candidate Carol Siemon this past political season, and we are proud and excited for her next steps as Ingham County Prosecutor! For Carol, we created a brand identity and a new campaign website.
Finally, we created a brand-new website for Carol to serve as a home for information for voters to get to know her better. We incorporated her brand identity and our own photography into her fresh and clean campaign website.
Hubert Massey Booklet
In August, we designed a booklet for the Detroit Regional Convention Facility Authority Art Foundation. The DRCFA Art Foundation recently commissioned a large-scale fresco from Detroit artist Hubert Massey, and we were thrilled to create materials to support and raise funds for the new artwork.
Barkman Landscaping: Website
Barkman Landscaping, a company who has been doing landscaping in southeast Michigan for over 30 years, came to us with an outdated website that was in desperate need of a refresh. We built a new home on the web for the Barkman team that features beautiful visuals of their work, testimonials from past clients, and easy ways to get in touch for quotes or questions.
Larry Deitch: Branding, Website, & Other Materials
We worked together with Larry Deitch to create a brand identity, campaign website, and various materials for his University of Michigan Regent campaign. Larry was a great candidate to work with and we are proud of the high quality work we delivered.
